Saving Energy

Are you aware that our world is in danger?

If you are thinking about energy and how to save energy come and tell me is it good to save energy.

My first reason is...why should we save energy. Because if we don’t save energy we might run out of energy and we might not live for an hour so that’s why people should save energy and power.

My second reason is... if you and your family want to save energy you can go and look up how to save energy and thats why people around the world save power now because the use little by little.

My third reason is... If you want to save power and you want to save energy go and save your money and go out to a party and save you energy at home so that’s why we save power at home to eat and have a shower.

That is why I believe... I believe this because i be in this before and i was not so go with power because that was the time i was 6 so when i grow up thats when i knew how to save energy so if you want so good fact go to http://www.investorwords.com/tips/energy/.

Tamaki Primary night recount

In a early morning on Monday 15th July 2012 a night my mum,dad,Sister,2 brothers came to see me do my recount plan when I was on the stage i felt nervous because people was look at me and when I was finished I was happy because I saw my family with a happy face when Mrs Fepulieai called people to come up to the stage I was so happy because Mrs Fepulieai look at me and called my name I was happy so was my family I was so glad that I got called up to the stage.

The next day:when my family got up  I was so happy because today was my cool because we are going to my school to see who was the winner when it was 3:00 my family was waiting inside the hall I came running fast as I can to the hall when I went on to the stage I saw my whole family I was happy to see my family be happy for me that was when Mrs Fepulieai said people on the stage  the winner was No One? Because no one wrote  on the paper.

The next next day: When I woke up my family was happy to see me win the the recount plan  when I was in the hall I went on to the stage and Mrs Fepulieai said the winner was?


The last day: Was me! I was the winner  and that I had a big part. It was fun my family was so happy for me because i did good on my recount plan. I felt very good because i did well with my recount plan so good and also effective to the people that were in the hall.

Movie Magic Evaluation

I think that aclear script is the most important element to movie making because...for example if you make a script and it does not make sense you can’t read it and then you won’t say your lines properly and the movie won’t make sense.

I put sound and range of camera shots and angles second because..if you don’t have sound in your movie your movie will look bad without sound. Angles are so important because your movie might be so effective and people think that your movie is so good.

Another important element is angles and camera shots because...they were so effective to me when i put them in order and i think it is so good to go with a movie.

Other important elements that aren’t included here are...having a clear storyboards.

My biggest lightbulb moment while learning about movie magic was...angles and camera shots because things.  These they are good for a movie and good when i go and do my movie about saving up, I will remember these.

Room 8 Speeches

Room 8 have been studying Movie Magic. Part of making movies, is speaking clearly. We put this into practice by planning, crafting, practicing and presenting speeches. The topics we chose, were topics that would influence the thinking of others. We hope you enjoy!

My Speech Reflection

How did you feel about presenting your speech to the class? 

It was cool. My class mates gave me some feedback and said it was cool.


What was the hardest part about preparing a speech? 

I couldn’t give eye contact and I was doing good on my speech.


What did you enjoy most about speeches?
It is fun and it is cool and it was a good speech but it was not that good.

How could you improve your speech making next time? 

I will try to put some good information inside my speech next time.
